My Team

I am fortunate to work with many people who share my passion for providing thorough, compassionate care for our patients. Our goal is to care for the whole person and not just their hip. You will see that our service is different from what you have experienced with other clinics.

My Team

My team is constructed in many layers to thoroughly provide you with a level of service that you have not yet experienced in health care. I select every member of my team, and they all share my passion and commitment to provide you with everything that you need to become whole again and to get back to all that you enjoy doing.

My clinical team is led by Teresa, Debbie and Collet. They collectively will help you with scheduling appointments, surgeries, clinical tests, navigating through the challenges of insurance and with your work forms. They recognize that undergoing surgery can be stressful and are committed to being available to you and to help you in every way possible with this process.

Molly, Katie and Lana are my Nurse Practitioners and Athletic Trainer. They assist me in clinic and run individual clinics, are available to you for questions and test results, and work with those who travel to Denver for their surgical care. They are compassionate, well experienced and allow my service to be responsive to your needs when I am not available the four days of the week that I am in the operating room.

Joe Harris is my Surgical Assistant in the operating room. I have worked with him since 2015, and he shares my commitment to surgical excellence and perfection. He is essential for me to perform your surgery. He constructs the labral and ligamentum teres grafts and assists me with arthroscopic surgeries and with total hip replacements. He is not an employee of Western Orthopaedics and will bill your insurance separately for his services.

My operating rooms at Swedish Hospital are unique in that I thoroughly believe in a team approach to your surgical care. I work with a dedicated small group of nurses and surgical technicians who know and understand my operations and the required instrumentation. They share my commitment to surgical excellence and taking the extra time to make every surgery perfect.

Carrie and Courtney are my Nurse Practitioners on the Swedish Orthopaedic floor. They care for you in the postoperative period and ensure that you are safe, comfortable and set up for success when you go home. They also arrange for all medical prescriptions to be filled and brought to your room prior to your leaving the hospital. I believe that postoperative care is more thorough and safer when it is performed in a hospital and coupled with an overnight stay rather than treated with a same day discharge from a surgery center.

My promise to you is that every member of my team will give you everything that they have with every step of this process to ensure that you can have the best possible outcome with your surgery.

“When I first met Dr. White I could barely walk. I had been dealing with hip pain for my entire life but could not get anyone to believe me, and doctors simply told me it was “growing pain.” When I started college I finally went on my own and got an MRI, where they told me that my hip joints did not fit together correctly and I had a torn labrum on each side. The doctors office referred me to Western Orthopedics where I met Dr. White. He told me that I would need a hip arthroscopy and reconstruction on my labrum’s. I was terrified, but he and Sean were so kind and reassuring, and they made the whole process so easy for me. I always felt so comfortable and welcome in their office. The x-ray technicians, the nurses, and Teresa (his surgery scheduler) were always so wonderful. Fast forward to my surgeries, which were six months apart, were fantastic. Dr. White did an amazing job, and it has been over a year since my first surgery and I am already able to do so many things I never thought I would be able to do. I am working out again, playing with my nephews again, traveling again, and living my life. I owe this all to this amazing group of people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
